Afternoon Ride above Coller State Wildlife Area

 

 

After the logging festival, we crossed the Rio Grande at the Coller bridge and continued up and around to the back side of the western valley range. There were some neat aspen groves where the aspens were all slanted. We also got a nice view of Elk Park. We found some good candidates for hiking sticks there. Some of us walked about half way down the mountain. The sunset was fabulous!
